Orange and Google Inc. Partnership in Europe for AI, Google Cloud and machine-learning
Orange is one of the most important mobile operators in Europe, offering innovative solutions for both individuals and companies.
Orange has recently strengthened its ties with Google through a strategic data partnership. The two companies will work together to open an innovation laboratory in Europe, focused on future computing and data manipulation technologies, using 5G technology, which will soon be present in all countries of the old continent.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, Google Cloud will support the internal digital transformation of the Orange group by 2025, as provided in the operator's development plan.
Google's experience with cloud data, cloud applications and artificial intelligence (AI) will help Orange improve both its internal operational efficiency and the experience of Orange customers. In this sense, Orange intends to develop an application / platform for data analysis and machine learning, based on Google services.
A new center of excellence will provide support Google Cloud for Orange France and the group's subsidiaries, within the digital development and innovation program. Through this program, thousands of Orange employees will be trained for the new services that will be implemented. Data access and manipulation in Google Cloud, machine-learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
This agreement will strengthen the position Orange Business Services (OBS) as an operator and provider of multi-cloud services, and instead, Orange will make services more visible Google Cloud on the business market from Europe.
