The Android KitKat update for the HTC One smartphone is being pulled from the UK

Owners of the HTC One smartphone in the UK could be left with their eyes in the sun because the Android 4.4 KitKat update was mysteriously pulled by the OEM due to some "problems".

This happened after the update officially hit last week and even if no word was said about the "problems", HTC confirmed the postponement on the social network Twitter.

KitKat is still listed as being in the "integration" phase, still waiting for the official launch moment.
