The annual subscription of one dollar does not bring much profit to the company, in the first half of 2014, WhatsApp registered losses of 230 million dollars and receipts of approximately 15 million dollars. However, Zuckerberg is firmly convinced that, when WhatsApp will reach one billion active users, this application it will bring profit to Facebook. One of the reasons for its recent growth is due to its intense popularization in India, while the United States of America and China are still reluctant to adopt it.
