iOS 9.3.5 Update – Resolves security issues confirmed by Citizen Lab and Lookout

As we all know, iOS is a very safe operating system, compared to those of the competition. But it is not 100% certain.
A few days ago, Ahmed Mansoor, an activist from the United Arab Emirates, received a link by SMS, which if accessed, the sender could have remotely taken control of his iPhone. Through that link, it would have been possible to carry out a remote jailbreak, and then inject some spyware applications capable of tracking all the confidential data on iPhone. talks by Viber, Whatsapp, imessages, E-mail and other types of correspondence had been intercepted easily.
Mansoor's inspiration made him not to open that link, and to place it further to two companies in the field of cyber security and online security. Citizen Lab and Lookout discovered the vulnerabilities in iOS, and Apple immediately went on alert.

iOS 9.3.5 fixes it three security issues that close breaches which could make jailbreak remotely by simply visiting a web link.
Available for all mobile phones iPhone 4s and newer iPad 2 or newer generation and iPod touch starting with the 5th generation, iOS 9.3.5 is available for download and installation via WiFi via iTunes or directly from the iPhone menu: Settings > General > software Update.
