Facebook lets you download videos and play them in offline mode

Users of limited data subscriptions or those who live in areas where the data connection is not stable will be happy to know that Facebook has started an update process of the mobile application, which will give them the possibility to download videos to the mobile device so that they can be played in offline mode. This new function has already appeared on the phones of some users and will reach the rest of the world in the coming weeks.

If this feature is enabled on your personal account, application Facebook will display a notification. This describes the process of saving clips and shows where they can be played once they are saved. These clips can be saved indefinitely, being able to be played anytime, anywhere and at any time after they have been copied to the internal memory of the mobile terminal. To protect the copyright of content creators, these clips cannot be accessed directly. They can only be played via Facebook application and encrypted so it can not be detected by other multimedia playback applications. The saving process is simple and intuitive, it is only necessary to click on the context menu next to the video clip, from where the saving function is selected.

Currently, only those who use Facebook in the beta versions 85 and 86 they received the function of saving video clips, and it will probably be implemented in the final version in a few weeks.
