How to upgrade firmware to Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 for Samsung i9100 Galaxy S II

  • Back to previous menu option Back and access Mounts and storage then option  format / system.
  • Back to Go Back and access options Advanced and select Wipe Dalvik cache after which we return to the main menu and finish the process with the option Power Off

For phone upgrade to Android Ice Cream Sandwich we used a version ICS Open Europe (I9100XXLPJ), downloaded from samfirmware.com (To access download links must first be register for free site).

  • Close the Odin if we stayed open and on again the way Downloading Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power) to install the new version of Android and connect the phone to the PC.
  • open Odin and select files from archive ICS firmware for i9100 (archive may contain either 3 files: CODE, MODEM si CCS is one that includes all 3).

  1. it's stupid with Odin, it only destroys the phones in the sense that after installing the firmware update with it, you can no longer do it with kies, which is much safer and easier, I suffered with 2 samsung phones SL and S2, S2 yes coded on vodafone, SL doesn't work anymore, so it was like before Odin, both of them being taken new. bye
