Microsoft Office Mobile for Android will be released next year in the spring

Microsoft has been preparing for some time the release of a version for mobile devices of the Microsoft Office application suite and it seems that at the beginning of next year the owners of phones and tablets running the Android and iOS operating systems will be able to view .doc, .xls, .ppt files . For those who want to edit documents on these devices, the paid version of Office 365 will also be available. The launch of the new suite of office applications will take place in two stages: sometime in March 2012, iPhone and iPad users will be able to download the new application from Microsoft for free from the App Store, and in May, users of the most popular Android mobile operating system will be happy downloading Microsoft Office Mobile.
