Applications using Silverlight on Symbian (NEW!)

Developed by Microsoft for applications Internet browser / Internet ExplorerTechnology Silverlight is now available on mobile phones OS Symbian.
This means that owners of mobile phones NOKIA Symbian content can now enjoy Silverlight and applications developed for the platform.

Unfortunately, Silverlight is only available on four NOKIA phone models: 5800 XpressMusic, N97, Mini N97 si S60.

 

The representative of Microsoft, Mary-Jo Folely, wanted to specify that this year Silverlight will also be available on mobile phones with the Windows Mobile 7 operating system, but nevertheless the phones will not have the possibility to run Silverlight inside web pages . 
Asked Silverlight implementation on the devices Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), (iPhoneIPod, iPad) and Android, Microsoft representative declined to make any comment.
