LG G4, a possible LG flagship with Android 5.0 Lollipop

Company LG announced at CES 2014The new device LG G Flex 2, but more than likely they are already working on a descendant for the top of the range G3. Although the company has not officially discussed a possible G4, its development and launch is almost inevitable. A series of leaked images on the Internet claim that this smartphone exists and provides some information about its capabilities, in the prototype stage. We are talking here about screenshotVitae of source operating system developed by LG for new smartphone that could not be real.

The information comes from the website TechManiacs from Greece, which seems to have arrived at an early version of the Android ROM of LG G4. This is based on the support Android Lollipop 5.0 and reveal that we have to deal with a 16 megapixel camera sensor, an improvement compared to the 13 megapixel model used today, LG G3. Also, the maximum resolution at which images can be captured 5312 2988 pixels x, denotes that there is a sensor with respect 16: 9 detail found only in a few high-end phones in recent generations (Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, HTC One M8).

At the same time, despite the viral rumors about the overheating problems of the new chipset from Qualcomm, LG doesn't seem to care. Operating system sources reveal that the processor targeted for the new Korean flagship is even 810 SoC site, the first high-end 64-bit processor in the Snapdragon range. It seems that this decision is not exactly a surprise, the same processor being confirmed for the new LG G Flex 2.

The fact that LG seems to choose a display 5,3 "with a QHD resolution (2560 1440 pixels x) for G4 is not surprising detail. G3 also used such a display with high resolution at the expense of the life of the entire device. With luck, the company LG will be able to more effectively integrate a panel in terms of energy consumption in the new device G4. The amount of RAM or internal storage space are not yet known.

Since the LG G3 came in versions with 2 and 3 GB of RAM, we could expect at least that much for the new G4. Taking into account the fact that it has a processor with 64-bit architecture, it is possible that 4 GB is the ideal amount of memory for a flagship since 2015. Other mobile device manufacturers, such as Asus si XiaomiAlready announced smartphones 4 GB RAM, so this would not be totally unusual when the official announcement.
